I presented at the Conquest User Group Conference in October 2016 where I spoke about the work my team and I had undertaken at Campbelltown City Council (SA) to implement a centralised Asset Management system that fitted in with our council’s existing corporate databases allowing for data integration across various corporate systems.

‘Integration’ is not about hardware plugging into other bits of hardware, it’s all about the data. Ensuring that you invest in systems that allows for data integration (not locked down), and managing the data correctly so that it works for you and your organisation is the key.

I’ve also put together a short Infographic for those who don’t have time to watch the (quite long) video!
